Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin is a type of problematic skin that can occur in any skin type. It often appears thinner and may show visible redness or broken capillaries.

It is typically characterized by the following aspects:

1. The skin's stratum corneum (outer layer) is thin, making the red capillaries on the face very visible.

2. The skin is prone to redness, and changes in temperature, whether too hot or too cold, can cause redness to the skin.

3. Dietary changes or increased stress can lead to symptoms such as redness, itching, and tingling sensations.

4. The skin is very susceptible to sunburn.

For sensitive skin, special attention should be given to basic skincare, such as moisturizing. Increasing skin hydration and strengthening the skin's barrier function can significantly enhance its resistance and reduce external irritants from affecting the skin. It is advisable to wash the skin with lukewarm water, and in areas with high pollen counts during the spring, minimize outdoor activities to avoid triggering pollen-induced dermatitis. A balanced diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables is also recommended.
